Summary:

The Wallingford Public Library seeks to re-imagine an area of its Children’s Room to create the Wonder Room, a dynamic, flexible area that will be used for 21st century children’s programming.

The Wonder Room will feature age-appropriate space for its baby & toddler programs that are currently held in the lower level conference room; a mini-makerspace for children’s STEAM and maker programs including its popular Collaboration Station; and furnishings conducive to students who wish to work individually and/or collaboratively on assignments and projects.

The project budget was used to install an architectural glass door / wall system, vinyl plank flooring, paint, procure appropriate furnishings including storage cabinets, signage and install window shades.

4D design has been on board with this project since 2017. We assisted with budgets, marketing materials and introduced a concept early on. Thank you to WPL for having us on board. We also offer CA Services.
